Our second shooting day was even less smooth than the first one as there were some minor organisational issues that were affecting each other, therefore creating some delays in our shooting schedule. We had some changes in the weather forecast and it was raining half of the day which meant we had to wait to film the scene with Joe and the train. We also knew that we had to have a permit to film at the station but couldn’t afford to pay for that so decided to go to the Kenton station and talk with the staff. Unfortunately, they didn’t allow us to shoot at the station so we had to use our backup plan and replace the tube station with the bus stop and do everything really quickly as it was really windy and started to rain again. We decided to remove the B roll of people walking and transport speeding up for the dream scene from that shooting day due to the weather, time, and legal reasons. I will have to film these shots later in my home city as it is much easier to do that there. Even though we cut these scenes from the schedule, we were quite late to film the scene near the entrance of Joe’s house with the natural light and it got dark by the time we started filming the scene, so we had to use the led lights which again made it a bit slower. When we were about to start filming the interior scenes with Joe and Joanna, Bethany's flatmate had to use the living room and it was really crucial to free the space. Luckily, everyone was really patient and understanding so we’ve gotten through that challenge together and got back to the filming process. The last scene we had to film that day were the ECUs of Joe’s eyes in the dream sequence. We only needed two crew members for this and that is why everyone else started packing up. Each of us was feeling really tired and unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding, the glasses that we needed for the last ECU shot were taken by Sara who went home earlier. Of course, that was quite frustrating, but we decided that as I have a slightly similar haircut as Fleur and we are doing the extreme close-ups I could do the stand-in while we will be filming in the studio and film the last shot there.
