Working on the script

Initially, we started working on the script while using the script production designers were given for their practice, so we didn’t have to write everything from scratch. Still, we had a lot of work to do as we wanted to change the story and the characters as well as the main idea, so we had another production group meeting and all of us added the comments and suggestions for changes in the initial script.
After that, Bethany and I did another meeting and rewrote the whole script according to our new idea, characters and took into account everything we’ve discussed with the whole group. We also added some new bits that, luckily, other production members seemed to like.
After writing the 1st draft we sent it to our tutors as well as explained it during one of the tutorials with Chris and Dionne. We took into account Chris’ suggestion to introduce the idea of Joe seeing and perceiving reality differently already at the beginning of the narrative. We decided to somehow show it through the inner monologue of Joe and also cut out the scene of the dialogue between Joe and Joanna, in the beginning, to make Joanna's character more separated from reality. We also cut out a few other scenes as our script seemed to be too long and these scenes were unnecessary for our new version of the narrative so we made some changes to the second draft and decided to work with this version of the script.
