As a team, we worked on a Treatment document from our first meeting until the tenth week of our project. The Treatment document offers an overview of the synopsis, characters, visuals, and sets for any actors looking to star in our short film. We assigned tasks to all of the group members to ensure their input and vision is seen throughout the document and divided the pathways accordingly. Once finished, we set out to post the casting call. In time for the casting call creation, I have managed to create quick concept art sketches of the two main characters in order to clearly present their style and vague features.

Initial Concept of Joe & Joanna
To better define the costumes of Joe and Joanna, we set out to create style boards of their outfits early on. Aiza and I put together the following mood boards to reflect the character's appearance and clothing:

Joe - Style Boards

Joanna - Style Board
The casting call poster has been created by the moving image pathway and was sent out to tutors and students across the university as well as on social media. Within the following week from sending out the casting call, we had our actors selected.

Following on from the first concept art and boards, I decided to create a few more drawings to illustrate all of the outfits the characters may wear throughout the scenes. For Joe, I looked at different loungewear as a majority of her scenes will be inside the apartment as well as smart casual outfits for the pitch montage. The outfit for the opening shot was slightly more difficult in terms of conceptualising as at the time we did not know the style or measurements of the actors themselves. However, as I now knew their appearance, I was able to use their features within the drawings.
